Hi I recently incorporated the multibox into my setup with the pbc and I’m having trouble getting it to communicate with my Solis Ventus. I’ve tried changing the default jumper to the various positions.
I’m going from my pbc6x into the multibox then out to my 5pin devices. Then I have a trs...
Hello I added a boost pedal under my board and wanted to set the pbc to control the on off. I use song mode with presets and I am wanting the boost to stay on if i switch a preset. However i cannot get this funtion to work for the life of me. Please help.
Hey Ron i think i may have fixed this. by selecting the Ignore preset tempos on the global section. I don't use preset tempo all of them are set to song so I'm not sure why this works but it seems to send correct tempo now with this option selected.
doesn't matter what tempo i tap in it never taps to the proper tempo. the number on the pbc and the timeline led are always different. as soon as i turn off clock pulse limit this issue is fixed.
Posted in another thread but putting this here just in case as i think its a bug. i set "clock pulse limit" to 10 and also have a button on my pbc that i can tap tempos into on the fly. This button no longer works when clock pulse is on.
the new GFI pedal has this same issue. when i use the clock pulse limit option it fixes it however with clock pulse limit im having issues with pedals receiving the proper tempos when i switch presets. is there a AI or button i can set to resend midi clock to all my pedals?
Also with Clock pulse...
As i know this is not likely due to the pbc6x but im having an issue with the Solis ventus and when it receives continuous clock it will adjust the tempo by 00.1 so if i set it to 70 it will go back and forth between 70 & 69.9 causing small warbles or dropouts. I know one of the fixes is to...
along with the Enieqma they just released the Solis Vantus you can add to the list as well. https://www.gfisystem.com/_files/ugd/9deb14_67fd492eceeb4471a3be1b389cd862b9.pdf
yes this worked for me i had it at 6ms and it was working but i just increased just because its not gonna make a big difference. I guess this will do for now. Thank you for all the help everyone and Ron!
Also your values are correct its the manual of the bigsky MX that are incorrect.
bypass 102...
I had tried this previously and it still did not affect the preset being recalled.
So this is the command that i had to do in order for it to bypass which is unfortunate because the reverb does engage momentarily. this along with enabling direct send pc/cc in the device menu.
Here ya go. Im only using the 1st three pages. Page 2 is my loop page page 3 is my midi page. Thanks for checking do you have a video somewhere explaining how to do a delay command. i might try to do that first putting a delay on the bypass command.
Strymons response "This does seem to be an issue with certain MIDI switchers, although we're not really sure why. I use an MC6 Pro and I am able to send these messages without any problems whatsoever on two different BigSky MX's, so it does not seem to be an issue with the pedals."
So he...
Tested this out and you are indeed correct the BigSky Mx ignores bypass of the midi controller when recalling a preset. I have reached out to support to see if intended. Is there an IA I can setup in the meantime as a workaround?
Thanks for this I’m going to try this later today. it still doesn’t solve the problem but may be a temporary workaround. For my gigs today I basically changed the midi channel on the big sky and am operating it manually.
