Digital Noise/buzzing after firmware update

Hey guys!

I just bought a Mastermind PBC used last week. When the unit arrived, it worked perfectly and sounded great. But after updating the firmware, I am experiencing a loud buzzing/digital crackling noise that overwhelms all other signal.

I've tried powering the unit both with an appropriate adapter and with a VoodooLabs Pedal Power Digital, off the 12v 400mA tap. The problem persisted.

I've disconnected all the cables to and from the loops, and tried various cables for input and output. Cabling is not the issue, and anyway, it worked before the update.

I've tried all kinds of different arrangements of the various push buttons, to no avail.

I updated the firmware using an SD card in a USB adapter.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Please try turning off the buffers and see if anything changes. Also, try running through each section of the PBC separately: Guitar into main input, Out 1-4 to amp. Then guitar into In 5-6, Out 5-6 to amp. And finally guitar into In 7-10, Out A to amp. See if they behave differently.
