DIN7F 7-pin midi cable

I'm setting up a patchbay for my rack and would like to include a 7-pin DIN plug for the DIN7F7 which powers my GT22.

Because the 7-pin cable is carrying some current to power the GT, is this a bad idea?

If not, can you tell me the pinout for the 7-pin midi cable?

It's not a problem, just make sure you use good quality cable in your patchbay. (Although the quality of your actual MIDI cable is more important, because it's longer).
