Which amps does the RRN cable work with?

RRN stands for Recto, Road, Nomad, and works with the following:

Dual and Triple Rectifier® (3 channel models)
Road King™ (series 1 and 2)
Roadster™
Nomad 45, 55, 100

Notes:
- For two channel Rectifiers, use our 1/4" interface cable (AC-1QTRS-10)
- On the Road King series 1, you can control everything except the "Ext Trig" function
- On the Road King series 2, you can control everything except the "Tuner Mute" function

Can I use an RRN cable with a Mark V®?

You can, but the cable will not control the fx loop, and the EQ control will be weird - turning on the 4 switch on the Gizmo will activate the EQ and select channel 3. The EQ issue could potentially be fixed by modifying the cable.

We offer a cable specifically for the Mark V that will allow you to control everything including the EQ.

You can use a Mark V cable with a Dual or Triple Rectifier.

Don't use the Mark V cable with a Road King or Roadster! Bad things could happen. (And you won't be able to access channel 4).

Can I use the footswitch cable that came with my amp instead of the interface cable you sell?

Unfortunately, no. Our products are a general purpose switching solution, and the interface cables are needed to convert from our generic 8-pin connector to whichever connector and pin configuration your particular amp needs. Some of the more complicated cables even have some circuitry built into the cable - this circuitry is required to mimic the electronics that are built into the amp's footswitch.
