HELP please - 5150 III Stealth and AxeFXII - MINI Amp Gizmo

Hi All,

I just picked up a MINI Amp Gizmo (also own a rack gizmo) to use in a rack with an Axe FXII (controlled by MFC-101) and switching an EVH 5150 III 100 watt head (stealth model).

Yellow side of amp cable plugged into 5150 III amp jack
White side of amp cable plugged into Mini Amp Gizmo 'to amplifier' jack

5 pin MIDI cable from AxeFXII 'out/thru' jack going to -----> 'in' jack of MAG.
MIDI channel 1 on AxeFXII
MIDI thru set to on for AxeFXII
PC change set to on for AxeFXII

When manually changing the channels via the MAG switches 1, 2, 3 work fine (set to option 7 as instructed via insert instructions).

I am unable to use the 'write' button to save any presets?
I assumed that would be the MIDI channel setting on the MAG.... so I went into setup mode (option 1) and all lights are off except switch 5.
So, I assume switches 1 through 4 are off that means MIDI channel one is in use.

Still unable to 'write' when holding the button down...... help or suggestions please

Got the answer from Ron....
MFC-101 needs to big hooked up in order to receive the messages. I was attempting to do this manually from the dial rather than hooking up the MFC-101.

Works flawless now.... Thanks Ron!
