How To Setup An External Dual Midi Footswitch To Do Bank Up/Down

Hi Ron

I've got a dual footswitch that i'd like to use with a Midi Solutions Dual Footswitch Controller to do Bank Up or Bank Down on the LT via Midi.

I want to free up the LT's external footswitch input for other per preset functions, so doing this with a Midi Solutions box seems like the best bet.

What are the correct Midi commands i need to programme for the Bank Up and Down as a global setting? I couldn't quite get to grips with the External Midi Control part of the manual.
 
Use CC#79 and CC#80 to do bank up and bank down respectively. Make sure that you have the latest firmware on the LT (5.1.0) - these CCs were added somewhat recently.
