Almost done...got most of the main wiring done and built the breakout boxes for my main ins and outs, the distortion board interface and the USB, expression pedal and footswitch ports. Got my custom MIDI cables the other day and hooked them up so all the pedals can talk to one another.
I'm using solid core Evidence Audio Monorail cable which not only sounds good (a little less aggressive in the high end and overall better balanced frequency wise) it's a LOT easier to work with when soldering. Not a single dud or intermittent cable in the lot which makes the build WAY less frustrating than previous builds. There's a few reasons for this I'd be happy to share with the more technically inclined among you...if you're interested, PM me.
Now all that's left is a little wiring and I need to rehouse my Fulltone Clyde wah into the smaller Fulltone Mini-Deja Vibe enclosure (shown in the bottom right of the pic). Not sure what I'm going to do with the guts from the Deja Vibe...I'll probably re-house them in an appropriate sized Hammond box.
This is how I've wanted to set my rig up for the last 3 years or so but due to a combination of laziness and slow release dates for some of the products I just never got around to making it happen. Now it's happening and it's turning out better than expected.
