PBC/6x & MC8 Midi

Hey! I'm having a hard time getting my Morningstar MC8 to the PBC 6x. I solder my own 5 Pin Midi Cable. I have a Multibox and set the pbc to bidirectional. Ive also tried multiple configurations of the multibox. Please Help.
 
i wired all the cables with the same number on both sides. I can send midi out. I can’t get midi in
 
Ok, how do you have the Multibox connected? And, have you checked the jumpers inside? By default, the port labeled MIDI In/Thru should be set to an input, but it's best to check and make sure that it really is set that way.
