I apologize if this has already been covered. I tried searching and could not find the info I was looking for.

I just bought an Amp Gizmo that I plan to use with a PODXT Live to control a Mesa Nomad. My question has to do with the Amp Gizmo setup...do I use momentary switching???

You would use latching switching for the Nomad - on the Amp Gizmo hold down the 8 button on powerup, release it after the lights come on and stay on, then press 3. That will set it up for a 3 channel, latching amp. (Assuming that this is a silver faced Amp Gizmo or Mini Amp Gizmo).
