Sorting Songs in Alphabetical Order Feature Poll

I manually do this myself. Wouldn't mind if the software did it for me!

Always On/Off IA Button Not Working

I recently put a pair of Tonex Ones on my board. When I need them, I will need them to be on constantly, regardless of presets, but that will not always be the case. As such, I set up an IA button on my Setup page that should turn them on/off with no input from presets. In practice though, while...

Using morningstar mc6 to recall presets in pbc6x

It can do it! A PC message sent on the PBC’s MIDI channel will switch to the corresponding preset number.

    Sticky loops when changing presets

To do this, set up a button to control the pedal, and uncheck the “send on preset change” and “update state on preset change” checkboxes. This will make it completely independent of preset changes, or “sticky” to use your terminology.

    Loop control

    1) Make sure all three devices are set up in your device list with correct MIDI Channels selected. 2) Create three buttons with these settings, only varying the device (forgive the crappy paint drawing): 3) Set up presets as desired. Hope that helps!

    Loop control

Not via the loop, but you can do that via MIDI.

Is it possible to move multiple presets?

Unfortunately you are correct. It would be really nice to be able to move multiple presets at a time, but we will likely need to wait for the editor revamp (currently no ETA on that) before we get that functionality (and there are no promises even then).

Toggle loops one button / up down bank one button

You can do both using the IA Cycle feature. I don't have access to my PBC right now to verify so I might have missed something, but the programming should look something roughly like this: Just change out the commands inside of each step to change what you want to do.

Using the Split Mono feature in the PBC/6X

It’s the same as wiring it for a stereo loop with two mono inputs/outputs as shown on page 11 of the manual. The difference is in the software - you select dual mono loops in the editor and it will separate them each into individually controlled loops.

    Problem using external switch

The ones recommended are both good, and the companies are solid. If you're handy with a drill and soldering iron, you can also build your own. It's a super simple build, and all the supplies you need are maybe $20-25 shipped.

    Problem using external switch

Hmmm, it's hard to tell if the wiring is correct, as he's using a 3PDT switch, where I have always used standard momentary. I typically associate 3PDT switches with latching operation, but there are 3PDT momentary switches out there, so it could be functional. If we can't find anything wrong...

    Problem using external switch

It's hard to say without actually seeing what you're trying to do. Can you post your editor file? It's unlikely, but it also might be worth posting a picture of the wiring inside the switch just to verify that they didn't accidentally send you a switch wired up for a different device.

Button hold to specific button page

Makes perfect sense! What you need to do is put all the H90 presets in a group. The groups are listed and can be set up on the Global tab. For a preset switch setup like what you describe, you'll want it set up like this: Then you'll need to go to each H90 preset button and set it to the...

Button hold to specific button page

Have you increased the Max Button Page in the Global tab? The default is 3, so that could very easily be your issue. Just in case though, here's a picture of how I have the same sort of thing set up on my PBC 6/X. Zero issues over years of use.

Button hold to specific button page

Yep. In your case, the IA action would be as follows: Action Type: System Subtype: Page Page Number: 4

    Button Color Dimmed

+1. I'm color blind and can't tell the difference between green/yellow and aqua/white well enough to use them well. Just 1-2 more color options would be insanely useful to me!

Scribble Strips on a future PBC?

But not everyone uses the PBC the same way you do. I personally have 9 heavily customized pages on my PBC 6/x at this point in time (yes, I do use them all, and I've actually used more in the past!), so I'd love to have this kind of functionality that helps me keep everything straight when I'm...

Insert Y cable for PBC 6x

Hey! I do custom wiring for pedalboards as a side-gig and have used all the common TRS plugs extensively over the years. Here's a couple general thoughts to keep in mind. - Squareplugs are generally great, and very well designed from a user's POV. That said, they've had some pretty bad luck...

    User Generated Device Library

Had this idea pop into my mind while browsing here. Seems to me that the majority of requests is simply for _______ pedal to be added to the device library. Instead of taking up Ron's valuable time adding what is essentially labels and shortcuts, why not outsource it to the users who care about...
