Any H9 users get a MMLT expression pedal to act a H9 volume pedal?

My flexable rig is racked in a 4 space Gator case. And so, my single expression pedal & switch plugs right into my MMLT. Those two devices are all I have in front of me. Nice and clean.

I have the expression pedal doing wahs and many other H9 tweaks too. Works great. But, I can't get the H9 to respond to volume data...

On the H9, I tried hitting the "more" tab on the H9's preset bluetooth interface and I have tried choosing either EXP controls input or output and then saving that preset. On the MM Editor preset Expression Pedal overrides, I have picked either Input Swell or Output Swell but alas, no expression pedal volume changes occur with the H9. All the other MM Editor H9 tweaks (ie Knobs 0-9) makes expression movements I can track on the H9 interface as I vary the pedal. But not the input or output levels.

Am I missing something? Or has anyone got H9 volume control via the MMLT's expression pedal input? I'm guessing the H9 wants the pedal plugged directly into it and not via the MMLT. That's clumsy for me. However, the H9 MM Editor does show Input and Output Swells available in the Expression Pedal overrides settings per preset.

Thanks!

You're right, the expression pedal settings only work for a directly connected expression pedal. For a MIDI connected expression pedal, you'll need to use MIDI settings.

In H9 Control, go to Pedal Settings > Assign MIDI CC Messages to pedal functions, then select Output Volume. Set it to CC#33.

Then, in the Mastermind's expression pedal settings, set it to "Output Swell", which is also CC#33.
