Control middi parameters with expression pedal

I have a Damage Control (old Strymon) Glass-Nexus. It is a modulation tube effects pedal that is middi controlable but doesn't have an expression jack. Can I set an expression pedal to control the middi parameters on the Glass-Nexus and perform things such as a swelling reverb, control delay rate or phaser speed, for example?

If the device has that MIDI implementation, then the PBC can certainly tell it to do anything.
