[DONE] Edit channel names

It would be cool to be able to edit channel names for use with the Axe-FX III. Instead of having to memorize how you have A B C D assigned within a block, you see the name of what is programmed to that channel. Being able to freely edit, instead of just “get names” would be better in the case of effects like delay, where channels might be the same model, but different values: channel A = slapback, channel B = 375ms, channel C = “specific song name”, etc. Seeing the names of the amps instead of A B C D in the amp block would be very helpful.

You can edit them. To do this freely for all presets, you'll need to use local button pages. The process would be:

- Select a preset in the Presets tab
- Check the Local Page checkbox
- On the virtual GT display, right-click anywhere. Select Copy From Page > 1
- Now, double click on one of the buttons. In the window that pops up, select Hold Function, then in the bottom section of the screen, select IA Cycle Steps. You'll see the four spaces where you can edit the names for each step.

I’ve been trying this and it is fantastic to be able to see effect names instead of just A,B,C and D. So handy.

In the IA Cycle Steps page, you can also set the colour as well as the name for each channel. These colours do show on the Hold options, but not on the main page once an effect is selected. Am I missing something - can this be done? It would be very handy to be able to see the effect colour as well as the name on the main screen.
