Do you happen to know if they've decided to not have 3rd party support? When I talked to them (quite a while ago), it seemed like they were going to implement it at some point. The VP4 doesn't rely on specific 3rd party MIDI support, unlike the Axe-Fx, FM3 and FM9.
And there's no need to.
It's plain old regular MIDI.
Until RJM adds the VP4 as a device (if necessary), just choose 'Generic Device' and enter the required parameter values for the VP4, found in the Owners Manual.

I guess I can implement this as a regular device if they're not planning to add full functionality, or if there's no sign of a release date any time soon.
I don't want to be that guy, but I'm still so excited that I can't help be that guy: is there still a chance this will happen this month?Good news, I just heard from Matt at Fractal and they have implemented third party support for the VP4, they just never announced it. I have the info now and will implement it in the next release. It probably won't be until October, since I just did a release, but I'll do what I can to get it done.
