What are the power requirements of the Mini Line Mixer?

The Mini Line Mixer requires 9 volts DC, with a minimum current supply of 150mA. It uses a standard BOSS-type connector: 5.5mm x 2.1mm x 9.5mm. Polarity needs to be center negative (BOSS standard).

What's the purpose of the Mini Line Mixer?

The Mini Line Mixer is typically used to create a parallel effect system. The idea is to split your guitar signal into multiple paths, apply different effects to each path, then mix the signals together again. This results in a cleaner, more distinct signal than if you were to run your signals in series.

Another benefit of a parallel effect system is that echoes and reverbs are always allowed to decay naturally instead of being cut off abruptly when an effect is switched off.

The Mini Line Mixer is typically used in an amp's effect loop and is typically used with one of our audio switchers (Effect Gizmo and RG-16). The switcher is responsible for splitting the signal and determining which effects processor(s) are receiving signal at each moment.
