Maybe a silly question about the 7th loop and 4CM on the PBC/6x

Hi all,

Just got into the wonderful world of the PBC/6X and I'm hooked by all the possibilities. I just however read that the 7th loop is supposed to be used for 4CM with an amp and that got me a bit confused.

So far I have been using just loop 1 (for instance) going into the preamp and then the Out of the PBC into my amp's return. What's the benefit of using the 7th loop in this case?

The only difference is that the insert loop has an integrated buffer. This would help reduce signal loss down the (presumably) long cable to your amp. But, if your cables are good and your amp's input is high impedance, then it might not make much difference.
