MLM Dual Mono? Possible?

Hello,

Can the left and right sides of the MLM be used as two independent mono mixers?

In the past I've had stereo/WDW rigs using a dual stage System Mix Plus, but have in the works a smaller mono rig. Wanted pitch in one side mixed with dry (say mix L), then feeding in series with time based (say Mix R), back to the amp return.

Short of buying another MLM, can this be done?

Cheers

Thanks Ron,

Would I need to use shorting (or open) plugs in unused inputs to stop crosstalk between the left and right sides?

Cheers

I don't think that will be necessary. But, if you do end up getting a lot of crosstalk, it's worth a try (Please let me know if this is the case!)

Thanks Ron,

Will do. Was thinking as I wouldn't be using all of the channels, and would have less inputs used on one side than the other, I'd need the shorting or open plugs to keep the L/R separation.

Will load it up with the plugs first and pull them out one-by-one to test.

You will need a grounded plug for sure if you are using one side (left or right) of one pair of inputs and not the other side.
