Noise when switching spring reverb on from pbc

Hi,
I have a noise problem when using the function switch output to switch spring reverb on/off on my Princeton amp. Noise is heard when spring reverb is on and the more of it is in the mix, the more noise I get. Tried to power PBC from various power supplies including the original one, also tried plugging straight from the FN OUT to the amp switch input omitting the patchbay in my pedalboard. Nothing seems to help.
I don't get the noise on the amp if I use the passive switcher that came with the amp or don't use the switcher at all.

Any ideas for a fix to this?

Here is a recording to demonstrate the type and level of noise I get when using my pbc to turn on spring reverb. The reverb is set to max (10) here. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1JFPWRSiJfNSzdX65SHX26xlw1CUJXSdD?usp=sharing

That's odd. There's nothing on the PBC end except a relay, which is equivalent to a switch. So there's not really anything in there that could cause noise. Are you sure the cable you're using is properly shielded?
