pass thru audio

Hi Ron, have Mastermind LT with 2x MegXs.
wondering if it is at all possible to pass thru the audio from an iPad plugged into the USB-PC slot on the LT?
don't know how apple deal with the digital audio out the USB-C or lightning connector so don't know if it's even possible, but other manufacturers have interfaces that work with this, so in theory ??
idea is to pass it thru the LT to the rack so down the midi cable to the first megx and out either an assignable loop or, preferably - to cater for multitrack, out the USB-C.
I don't use powered cables so would be happy to use pins 6 & 7 for this
thoughts?
 
I'm sorry, there are several things that prevent us from doing this. The LT has no audio capabilities at all, and you can't pass audio over a MIDI cable. Even if you did use pins 6 and 7, MIDI is very noisy and the audio would pick up a lot of noise from the MIDI signal.
