PROBLEMS,MIDI CHANNELS USING MASTERMIND,EFFECT AND G-MAJOR 2

Hi,

I guess I'm missing something.

I use The master mind to control the effect Gizmo on Midi Channel 1(PC1=Ch.01)in global setup.
When My G Major is on Midi Channel 1,It respond to the mastermind perfectly,but,of course,any CC sent to the Effect Gizmo,it is sent also to the G-Major 2.

Then,I Change the Midi Channel of My G-Major to Midi Channel:02
And also assigned PC2=Ch.02 on the Mastermind.
And nothing happens.The G-Major don't receive the programm changes.

Then I realise that.In PC1,All the preset are already assigned from 1 to 127
But for any other device,you have to assign it manually,preset by preset

Can I then send differrent CC using I.A mode to different devices?

example:If cc80 is assignes to loop 1 on the effect gizmo but cc80 is my tap tempo on the g-major...Is the Midi channel used for a CC will only affect the device on wich it is assigned?

is that right?

Hello,

You're right that you have to assign program change numbers for each preset to PC2, PC3 and PC4 if you wish to use them. Until you do that, the Mastermind will not send anything on those channels.

The IAs can only be assigned to one channel each. If you assign IA1 to channel 1, cc80, then it will only affect the Effect Gizmo. If you assign it to channel 2, then it will effect only the G-Major.
