quick question on expression pedals

hi all, hope you're doing okay! Just a quick question on expression pedals ... perhaps you see what I'm not seeing here!
I have setup my PBC as follows:

Global Expression - controls cc7 on my fractal vp4 (volume)
Expression 0 - controls cc20 on the vp4 (wah)
Expression 1 - controls cc21 (delay feedback)
Expression 2 - cc22 (reverb feedback)

I've put the 3 buttons on a page and grouped them under group 3, with the all buttons off checked

the idea is that by default it loads the volume, then I can quick step on any of the 3 additinal options (wah, delay / reverb feedback)

once the preset is loaded and I click on the ftswtch assigned to the wah, every works fine.

when I try to jump from an already active expression - i.e. delay or reverb feedback ... to the wah, it does not change (the light on the PBC changes but when rocking the pedalit is not sending cc7 (or at least teh vp4 is not receiving it). only if I first turn the current expression off (so back to global) and then select the wah again...

any ideas? file attached!

Try turning off "Send Off Messages" for the expression button group. That's likely the cause.

Just for the record, when "Send Off Messages" is turned on, two things happen when you press a grouped button: One button turns on, and sends its on messages. But also, another button turns off and sends its off messages. In your case (and in many cases in general), doing both leads to conflicts. Turning off Send Off Messages avoids those conflicts.
