Red Remote FN switch carryover presets

Is there a way for my Red Remote to stay engaged while I change presets? It always disengages when I switch to a different preset.
I guess another solution could be the preset is setup to know the FN switch should be on from the start, is this possible?

In the Global tab, click the lock icon for the function switch in question - click it a couple of times if needed to get to the "I" (independent) icon. When set to independent, the function switch will no longer change automatically when you change presets.
