Special tricks!

I recently made a preset where I use the H90 with my expression pedal to do a pitch bend of a major sixth. When my expression pedal is fully up, it automatically switches to another H90 program with a pitch bend of a minor second. That way I can keep my foot on the expression pedal without having to switch presets or programs. The fact that this kind of thing is possible with the RJM absolutely blows my mind. After a moment like that I am instantly full of adrenaline.

That made me really curious about what kind of very specific tricks everyone else is pulling off with their setups.

I am also curious how everyone uses their external switches. Mine currently scroll through pages, and with a hold press I jump back to the preset.

I would love to hear everyone’s cool setup tricks. Is this the right place to share that?

Since we don't have a general forum that covers the whole Mastermind line, this is as good of a place as any!

I love a design is flexible enough that users end up coming up with new ways to use them or set them up, ways that I hadn't thought about when designing the thing in the first place. I like what you did on the expression pedal - very cool!

Probably the thing I use most is a pair of IA buttons for each MIDI enabled pedal I have:

Button 1:
Press = Device PC -
Hold = Resend current PC

Button 2:
Press = Device PC +
Hold = Bypass on/off

This gives me everything I need to program a connected pedal from the Mastermind. I can select which preset the pedal should load, select whether the pedal is bypassed or not, and the "resend current PC" is there for pedals that require a PC at the end of their preset programming process.
