Step function for presets?

Is there a way to use the step function for presets?

Im trying to setup a button page that has buttons that can step through favorite presets without changing to the preset page. Currently what happens is I have step mode enabled, then 4 steps with 4 presets but I can't get past preset 1 due to it switching pages. Then when I return to the favorite button page, it starts back at the first preset on that step button.

I am trying to setup each button to have 4 favorites per button with the step function. I can somewhat reproduce the preset using macros but it is time consuming and a little confusing to change quickly.

You can set it up so that preset changes cause page changes, or set it up so that preset changes don't cause page changes. That's the "Auto Page Select" setting on the Globals page of the editor. However, there's no way to have both, where selecting a preset changes pages sometimes and doesn't change pages other times.
