Tuner control?

Is there a way to get my tuner on the GT16 to connect with my Fratual Audio Axe FX ll ?

Yes!

- The GT has to be directly connected to the Axe-Fx's MIDI input, no devices in between
- Use a 5-pin active MIDI cable (one where all 5 pins are wired through, not all are)
- Turn on Bidirectional MIDI in the GT's MIDI settings
- Turn on Send Realtime Sysex in the Axe-Fx's MIDI settings
- Assign a button to activate the tuner (in the editor, right-click on a button, select Assign CC > Axe-Fx II > Tuner

That should do it.

if you have a expression volume pedal you can have it so heel down activates tune, great feature..

Ok... did all.. now the gt22 is turning on tuner display on the axe display window. On the gt display it's just showing a ?

Communication isn't making it back to the GT. Are you sure your cable is good in both directions? (Do other things work like get preset names, tempo flashes, etc.?)

Yup... that was it. The dam midi cable. And it's the 7 to 5 pin with power adapter. ‍‍. Now the hunt is on for a 7 to 5 pin all wired thru. Thank you again for your help.
