Why is my screen doing this? Picture attached...

I wondered why my screen was doing this - see picture?

It does improve after about 10 minutes but I didn't know if it was likely to fail.

Looks like a contrast issue. Temperature can cause that. Is it cold where you are?

Go into setup (hold 1 and 3 until the menu appears), then press the down arrow until you get to the Contrast item, which is the last in the list. Then press Val- repeatedly, it should clear up at some point.

Thanks for the reply. It is cold in my music room and given the energy prices in the UK we're not using much heating!
