It has come to my knowledge that Strymon has apparently implemented a not standard version of Midi in their single effect small box pedals. The company has just this week I believe released a firmware update for the Riverside, and Sunset overdrives that open this functionality up to their users. I hope that they soon open up their other pedals. I personally have a Flint and a Deco on my Mastermind PBC board. I currently use the PBC's function switches to recall a favorite setting on each pedal, but honestly, the pedals are very limited in the sounds I am able to produce with them. Having midi control would upgrade my rig tremendously.
I found this video showing that midi control IS possible on the El Capistan. The video offers no help to reproducing the results though. Does anyone have any idea how we can do this? Does this require a mod?
