Hi there!
I'm considering buying an Effect Gizmo to upgrade my rig, which consist of 9 effect pedals and two amplifiers. But before buying it, I have a question:
I'm using the two amps at the same time. I'm achieving it by using a Psionic Lava Flow pedal (A/B/Y). It works great with no noise or hum.
But the first A/B/Y-pedal I tried was an Whirlwind Selector, that caused on of the amps to make a lot of hum (probably caused by ground loop). I guess the Lava Flow works much better because one of the outputs has an isolated transformer.
And now to my question... I know that I can use two amps at the same time with the Effect Gizmo. But could it cause my amp to hum, since the Whirlwind-box did? The manual says that "Audio loops 9 through 12 are fully isolated – not electrically connected to each other in any way", but will this eliminate any hum caused by ground loops?
Regards
Erik
