Hi, I am having a problem with a loop on my Effects Gizmo. I submitted a support ticket, but the website was acting weird, so I am not sure it went through. Here is all the relevant information. Thanks.
RJM Effects Gizmo
Serial Number 0628
Blue lights-midi XLR on Front
Problem: Loop 9 pops when engaged.
In all these test, no pedals were in any of the loops
Routing 1
Guitar-->Input
Click Stopper-->to amp input
Amp FX send-->in loop 9
Output12-->FX return
What happens:
Loops 1-8, no pops when engaged
Loop 9, pops when engaged
Loops 10-12, smaller pop when engaged
Fix:
Bypass loop 9, so FX send goes to the input of loop 10.
Loops 10-12 silent when engaged
Routing 2
Guitar-->Input
Output 1-4-->to amp input
FX send-->to Click Stopper in
Click Stopper out-->In 5-8
Output 5-8-->in loop 9
Output Loop 12-->amp FX return
What happens:
Loop 9, pops when engaged
Loops 10-12, smaller pop when engaged
Fix:
Bypass loop 9, so Output 5-8 goes to the input of loop 10.
Loops 10-12 silent when engaged
Obviously, something must be wrong with Loop 9. Do you have a test I can perform to confirm what the problem is, and is this a repair I might be able to do myself? (If you remember, I wrote to you about a faulty CS in a MEG and following your instructions I repaired it.) If this is not a repair I can do, would it be possible to send it back you for repair. Of course, I will pay for the repair.
