Independent Midi Control of Multiple Devices Issue

I am trying to set up a Midi Control Page that will allow me to Page Up and Page Down with my Free The Tone Flight Time and Tri Avatar pedals.

The issue I am running into is that the buttons for the Flight Time work perfectly, but the buttons created for the Tri Avatar change the presets on both units.

I am a bit baffled and can't seem to find a solution.
What am I doing wrong?

Did you change the midi channel on the flight time itself? It defaults to Omni - listening on all channels

So I feel really dump!

I changed the MIdi Channel on the Tri Avatar from Omni to 2 but completely forgot to change the Flight Time. I just assumed it was set to Channel 1.

Changed the Flight Time to Channel 1 all is perfect.

Omni mode is the single worst idea in the MIDI spec, in my opinion. It causes many more problems than it solves!
