I thought all 5 pin midi cables were the same but these Roland cables did not work,....(midi messages midi cableIMG_0622.jpg messed up and a clicking sound) which ones do I need??Midi Roloand.jpg

It is a Rmidi-B20 Roland model that do Not work

I have cheap short Hosea midi cables that do work, but need 20' ones.

I'm surprised that Roland would make bad MIDI cables, but clicking is definitely a sign of poorly shielded cables. We sell good ones, and so does Best-tronics (www.btpa.com) - hand wired, properly shielded, connectors with full metal shells, etc.

@rjmmusic can you confirm it is a 3 conductor 5 pin midi cable needed? I'm pretty sure the Roland were 4 conductor. Also which ne on your site would work for the PBC/Axe III ? Link?
Thanks!
