New GT-22/Axe FX lll user question Tap Tempo

I just received the GT-22 today and went through the manuals setup for an FX lll and everything seems to work except tap tempo. It appears to work both on the GTs display and the Axe FX's display but the tempo stays the same. I checked the preset that I'm on and the presets tempo is global so I t should be working. Global tap tempo is a must for me and I need to get this to work. Thanks

By "doesn't work" you mean tapping on the tempo switch you've set up on the GT/22 doesn't change the tempo on the Axe-Fx III?

Here's how I have my tap switch set up on my GT/22 and works:



And on the Axe-Fx III MIDI channel is set to 1, Send Realtime SysEx is ON. Also, on the Other tab for MIDI Settings, Tempo Tap is set to NONE.

Thanks for the info. It was actually on the FX lll (which I am also new to). It looks like as a default on the FX delay tempos are controlled by preset and not global. Appreciate the help! Most likely wont be the last time you hear from me. (Noobs gotta start somewhere!)
