Noise on my Mark V & Mini Amp Gizmo

Hello, i have been using the MAG with my Mark V for 4 years now and it was working fine. However, just recently, i turned on my Mark V and there was a very irritating buzzing noise. I turned if off and turned in on again after 15 mins and it did occur again. So what i did, i disconnected the Mark V interface cable and the noise is all gone. The Mini Amp Gizmo is still working fine but when i tried plugging back using the interface cable, it was noisy again.

Could it be that the interface cable is the culprit or the Mini amp gizmo. I need your thoughts, please help me.

It sounds like there's something wrong with the cable. We could look at it and see if we could repair it, but after 4 years, it might just be time to replace it.
