not changing programs

my mod factor is not changing programs but tempo is changing ok ...also both my MIDI EQ's are on different channel than line 6 echo pro says ...something happened ...probably me pushing wrong button ...i cant get both EQ's to use channel 1 ...other than that they working ...for instance when line 6 is on channel 1 EQ's are on channel 2
 
i think you need to map out more details for us to help.

what are all the pieces of gear you're using and what MIDI channels are they set to?

like this:

mod factor - Device 1 - MIDI Channel 1
EQ 1 - Device 2 - MIDI Channel 2
EQ 2 - Device 3 - MIDI Channel 3

etc.

what does all this mean? what is "Channel 1"? channel 1 of what? channel 2 of what?
 
sorry Chris, i meant program #'s on read out, on devices themselves ...both MIDI EQ's and line 6 echo have program # read outs ...at one point when all was well ...program # on devices themselves were on same # on device itself readout ...I had programmed presets on MMGT to be on same # as program # readout on devices ...so it was like... MMGT was preset 1 ...line 6 program 1 ...both EQ's program 1 ect... ...now on program # read out on devices themselves ...Line 6 will read program #1 and EQ's will both read program #2 ...that is more a side issue though ...at least devices do switch same time , just not on not to same program # ...main problem right now is mod factor is not switching like it was before ...before I would save settings for a preset on mod factor and push store button on MMGT and it would recall the settings when I stepped on MMGT preset button ...now it only changes tempo but not program changes
