Just picked up a Marshall JVM and am struggling to figure out how to program channel changes via the PBC6X. The JVM manual is less than helpful and doesn’t give the numbers. Any suggestions?

There are no numbers predefined. It runs on PC messages, and you need to program what each PC does. First create a Generic device in the PBC/6X's Devices list and make sure it's on its own MIDI channel. Then, using the instructions on the JVM manual, set the amp to the same channel.
Then, follow the programming instructions in the JVM manual. You'll be selecting a PBC preset as part of the process. This will let you assign a specific channel and mode to each preset.
Start there, and see if you can get channel switching working. Then, there are a couple of methods you can use to go further if needed.
