Phantom Power Adapter Box question

Does the Phantom Power Adapter Box can be used with an older Mastermind PBC10 with 5 pin MIDI connectors? I have one and it's not working at this time.I plug the side with the MIDI in and out to the Axe Fx 3 and the other to the Mastermind PBC 10. Any ideas? Does it only work with a 7 pin version? I'm aware that the newer version uses the 7 pin for phantom power only which I don't actually need.Thanks

There's only one version of the PBC/10, it's never had 7-pin connectors.

Make sure that Bidirectional MIDI is turned in the PBC's MIDI settings. Also, make sure your MIDI cable is 5 pin active, not 3 pin active. Some MIDI cables have 5 pins but only 3 are wired to save money. Normal MIDI only needs 3 pins, but bidirectional MIDI uses all 5.
