Programming help: 6X>Quartz>Empress Reverb

hey all,

I am going MIDI out of the 6X to the Quartz. Then thru to the Volante. I want the Volante to receive clock from Quartz and presets from the 6X. And then I’m using the Quartz to also be my “midi box” for the the Empress Reverb but it only needs to listen to the 6X for preset changes. I tried a few videos and manuals and I’m not even sure what to do at all. Help please?
 
I've never used a Quartz, so I can't be much help but maybe there's a setting for MIDI Thru in there? If so, enable it.

As for the PBC, just make sure MIDI Clock is set to Off in MIDI settings, and set it up normally to control your other devices. The Quartz should pass any messages from the PBC to the other devices (once set up correctly).
