RG-16 Buzz from Rack Unit on Top of it?

I'm uninitiated into hum/buzz troubleshooting. Everything was working great with my RG-16 until I put an Axe-Fx II on top of it in my rack (didn't screw mount it in place). I tested every cable until I found that the Axe-Fx physically sitting on top of the RG-16 was the culprit. I also put mild pressure with my hand on top of the RG-16, and could hear buzz oscillation.

Is this strange?

Many thanks

Update: I think the locus of the buzz is somehow related to the Input jack on the front of the RG. I need to finesse it up and down to find the right spot for the hum to go away. I've tried every premium cable I own (high end ranges of analysis plus, evidence, etc.) with same issue. I'm just shooting in the dark here, but hopefully someone can turn on the light. Thanks!

I wouldn't be able to say without looking at it, but if it appears to be related to the input jack, probably one of the wires connected to the jack is loose. It will probably need to be resoldered.
