Timeline programming

So I'm in the editor software and I want to select "Tape Slap" on my Timeline. Strymon lists this program as Program 17 bank B, so in selecting the program I would call it as Program 17 bank 1?

All of their presets are programs 0-49 banks A then B alternating, then repeat in programs 50-99. Or is program 0-49 bank 0, then Bank 1 is the repeat from 50-99?

Thanks,
Chuck

From Strymon's Timeline manual (pg 25)

"MIDI Patch changes:

TimeLine presets are arranged in 100 banks of 2 presets
each for a total of 200 presets. MIDI access to these
presets is available as MIDI program change messages.
Via MIDI, the presets are numbered sequentially, for
example:

BANK 00A = MIDI program # 0
BANK 00B = MIDI program # 1
BANK 01A = MIDI program # 2
BANK 01B = MIDI program # 3
BANK 02A = MIDI program # 4
etc ...

To access presets 0-127 via MIDI, send program change
messages as shown above. To access 128 to 199, first
send a MIDI Patch Bank message (CC# 0) with a value of
1, then the program change message. To switch back to
a preset from 0 to 127, send CC #0 with a value of 0, then
the program change message."

Essentially, on the Preset tab of the PBC editor you'd need to count up to (or make a reference chart) to pull up presets/program changes on the Timeline (or Mobius, or BigSky).

Last I checked, I wasn't using the 'bank' function on the editor. Seems like it only needed the PC/Program change #. Also, I seem to remember having issues accessing PC# 0 as the editor didn't take it (last I checked).

Post back if that doesn't work!

Thanks, this clarifies it for me. I intend to edit presets 0-99 and save 100-198 as factory backups so I don't think I'll need to call them up.

But I should be able to program it now
