Trails from Global preset.

I think it depends more on your reverb and delay themselves -- whether or not they can spill over from one preset to another. Which reverb and delay do you use?
There are some things that need to be set correctly for trails to be preserved during preset switching.
One of these groups of conditions need to be true:
- Your pedal needs to have a built in trails feature
- You keep your pedal on at all times, either by not putting it in a PBC loop, or keeping the loop on at all times (or at least, when you want trails to continue)
OR
- You have a PBC/10, or a PBC/6X with an external line mixer
- Your pedal is routed in parallel with trails enabled
