Hopefully this will stimulate a bit of discussion or at least broaden our listening tastes a bit Dunno what we can do about attracting more members, but I guess that'll happen in time.
So, the CDs (or their virtual equivalent) I find myself putting on quite a bit at the moment include:
Karmakanic - Who's The Boss In The Factory (great Swedish prog band led by Jonas Reingold, bassist from the Flower Kings, and with Göran Edman on vocals, who's got a terrific voice)
Steve Lukather - Ever Changing Times - growing on me, this one. Starts particularly strong.
Týr - By The Light Of The Northern Star (progressive Viking metal band from the Faroe Islands. Not sure this album is as strong as Ragnarok but it's still fun to listen to)
Winger - Karma (definite return to form after the somewhat mixed IMO reunion album IV)
Eagles - Long Road Out Of Eden
Vertical Horizon - Burning The Days
Jason Aldean - Wide Open (bit of rocking country!)
Journey - Revelation
And a handful of older albums that I just love:
Spock's Beard - V
Extreme - III Sides To Every Story
Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever
Dave Matthews Band - Under The Table And Dreaming
Van Halen - For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge
Edit: How could I miss out the beautiful Circus Of Life by Norwegian melodic rock band Magic Pie? Awesome musicians, great sound. Can't wait till album #3 later this year.
