I'm using an iPad Mini, running Bandhelper to control the LT through a USB cable. If I try and power the LT from the iPad Mini, the Mini pops-up a message that says the LT requires to much power, which is no problem, I just plug in the power adapter to the LT and everything works fine. Based on the manual, I believe there is no harm in doing so.
If I want to power the LT using a phantom cable. Reading the manual, it says not to apply power via the barrel connector and the MIDI pins on the phantom cable at the same time. Is it okay though to connect a USB cable at the same time as supplying power via the MIDI cable? I would think it is, but I just want to make sure because the manual specifically says 'power input', which is the barrel connector, but I'm guessing it's in parallel with the power pins on the MIDI jack.
