Hi Will the MasterMind / Effects Gizmo communicate when connected by a 5 pin midi cable that has only 3 pins wired? (no phantom power obviously). Also, can the master mind be powered by a voodoo lab pedal power unit? Not sure if it will supply enough mA. Thanks.
