Function Switch behavior

I am trying to understand the blue/yellow/black colors for the function switches and associated globals. I've got it set one of them to turn on in a preset, but it seems to be stuck on even when I switch to another preset. The online Wiki doesn't explain this very clearly. Thanks

Have a look at this video - it describes it using a Mastermind PBC, but it's the same for the LT's function switches. The only thing missing is the independent (yellow) setting. When a switch is set to independent, you can change its state manually by using an IA button, but it will not change when you change presets. It sounds like you have this turned on right now.
