Yessir, and as far as the settings were concerned, it was set up correctly. I think...
According to MIDI Monitor at least, no additional CCs were being sent compared to going direct.
It's getting even weirder; I'm on the latest firmware... but I was MIDI daisy chaining the errant HX One after my Boss OD-200. And despite MIDI Monitor registering the EXACT same information, the HX One doesn't behave badly when I move it to a direct connection to my Mastermind.
So strange...
Sorry for the confusion, I reached a premature conclusion based on the fact that the HX One is only responding to errant CC messages across all channels, but only when ExpPedal 0 is active... which is such an unusual bug that I assumed it was my configuration at first. But according the MIDI...
Hey all, I'm having a strange issue that I think might be a bug, but it's also possible I'm overlooking something in my button configuration.
I have 4 pedals that I control with MIDI CC's: two HX One's, an eventide H9, and a MIDI-modded Pitchfork. I use IA buttons to switch between expression...
The main issue I see is that your killOver button conflicts with the settings for your other buttons, and has "Send On preset Change" and "Update State On Preset Change" checked, which means it's always trying to control your MIDI pedals' bypass state every time you change presets. What prevents...
To be clear, I'm using MIDI Clock for some pedals, and Auto Tap for a different, non-MIDI pedal. I don't think combining MIDI Clock and Auto Tap on one pedal is a good idea at all, better to control tempo on your Mastermind with a tap tempo button that changes Clock. Most pedals that have both...
I took a look at your settings to try to help; but I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're trying to accomplish. Can you explain what killOver is supposed to do? And what exactly is going wrong with the ACS1, you have several presets where it should be active and several where it's sent...
Can you share your settings?
I use a combination of MIDI Clock and Auto Tap, maybe I can help. I find that if a pedal features MIDI Clock sync, it's almost always better to use Clock instead of Auto Tap.
Alright, I’ve been brainstorming my problem and I think I’ve arrived at a solution, albeit a simple/inelegant one.
I realized that while I was connecting to FN1 with a TRS -> TS cable, with a dangling Ring connection to FN2, I could possibly make use of FN2… This literally came to me in a...
Understood, it does seem quite complex. Hypothetically, could there be another setting under Auto Tap, something like "Always Send Momentary Pulses", that would force the Auto Tap Macro to treat the FN Switch as Momentary, even if the switch itself is set to be latching?
Weirdly enough, the above suggested settings caused the Macro to never run, I never saw or heard the relay activate.
I also tried this:
Audio / FnSwitch#1 off:OFF, on: ON
System / Wait off:50, on: 50
With these settings, the Macro ran, but I got a half-time subdivision (quarter notes instead...
As I mentioned above, the Halo also allows you to control the A/B footswitches directly using a TRS cable. I just tried it out to see if the results would be helpful. The combination of settings to make this work properly is: Mom turned OFF on the FN setting, and Momentary turned ON on the...
Just tried this; similar results. Pressing the footswitch still only sends a pulse in that case, even if held down. Check it with my multimeter as well.
Hey all!
So I just got a Keeley Halo for my board, and I'm excited to integrate its external controls with my PBC. The Halo has an input for A/B (that simulates the A/B footswitches directly) and a TRS/Exp input that can either work as an expression input or a tap input.
I've configured Fn...
Here's what I see; you have "Flow 1" activated on your Global preset, but you're also sending PC 0 to all your devices!
On the "Preset" tab, look under "PC Messages," you'll see what I'm referring to. I bet un-checking those boxes will solved your PC issues (or, if you want PC 0 for everything...
