7-pin DIN Phantom Power Boxes not being made anymore?

Hi all,

I've been in the market for a phantom power box for the RJM Mastermind GT-16 to faciliate bi-directional MIDI for my Axe-FX III rack rig, but I couldn't find any 7-pin phantom power boxes in the RJM shop - I'm only seeing 6-pin XLR phantom power boxes. Are the 7-pin phantom power boxes discontinued?

If yes, I will need an alternative solution. My MIDI Solutions QuadraThru box is sitting on the front side of the rack and I have no space to put it in the rear section of the rack where the MIDI Out port of the Axe-FX III is located.

Would appreciate some help on this. I would consider using the MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru after the MIDI Thru of the Axe-FX III, but I have doubts on the reliability considering how MIDI Solutions MIDI splitters tend to be very picky about what's being fed into the MIDI In of their MIDI splitters...

Ah, so the MultiBox is the successor to the 7-pin DIN phantom power box eh? That's good to know. Will look into it, thanks.

Just had a quick look into the MultiBox. Oh gawd, the DC power jack is on the top side of the MultiBox, not on the side...that's gonna be impossible to implement into my rack shelf without offloading the Digitech Drop or Boss OC-5 octaver on my rack shelf...

It's looking more and more likely I'm gonna have to use two MIDI cables going from my RJM Mastermind GT-16 to my Axe-FX III rack...

Right, but then again the LT's are 9V DC. RJM Mastermind GT's are 12V DC.

Sure. That M Box is just a passive device so maybe you could swap out the power connection on either end.

The LT will accept 12VDC as well, no problem there.

Huh, that's good to know. Can't guarantee that the M-Box will work with the MIDI Solutions QuadraThru, but I'll think about it.
