ACS1 ghost PCs

On random occasions PBC preset buttons will change PCs on my ACS1 when there is no such change programmed. I was programming and practicing earlier this week on the desktop editor, connected to the PBC, and found inexplicable PCs, just for the ACS1. I know the PBC is getting programmed right but at some point it changes, which only shows on the PBC.
H9, timeline and big sky are in the midi loop and function without issue.
 
When you say that it shows on the PBC, can you actually see changed settings in the PBC, or are you noticing this only in the behavior of the pedal?

I recommend changing the channel of one of your other pedals to be the same as the ACS1, so they respond to the same PCs. See if the other pedal switches to the wrong preset when the ACS1 does. That will tell us whether to look at the PBC or the ACS1.

Another thing to test is to connect the PBC MIDI output directly to the ACS1 MIDI input and see if it works any better.
