Creating Two IA Buttons for Two Boosts on Preset/Song Page

All my pedals are midi controllable and I was thinking adding two boost IA buttons to my preset/song pages.

Here is my thought on how to do it with PBC 10 - I would just add boost without affecting the preset with an IA button with a Midi CC toggle action on the mIdi device specifying the volume boost with a on value that's slightly higher than my standard preset level. So it doesn't affect preset sound in play, just the volume.

Here is my thought on what pedals in my chain I would use for two boosts - my midi pedal chain is all Chase Bliss in this order -Brothers (Boost/OD/Fuzz), PreampMKII(Clean/OD/Fuzz), Condor HiFi (EQ/Drive), Clean (Compressor/Limiter with Dry and Wet Controls). I use my amp as a clean pedal platform and get all my overdrive sounds from the pedal chain.

So I use the Boost channel on Brothers for boost to fatten/saturate start of chain and the output of Clean compressor end of chain for transparent Volume boost.

I was going to use two top buttons on Preset/Song page:

1. Button One - would control the output of Brothers with its boost channel to fatten up/saturate my Preamp MKII Drive sound
2. Button Two - would control the wet/dry output of Clean compressor end of chain for a simple volume boost

1. Question about using cc to boost levels - is using the PBC 10 and cc# with higher value best way to get boost on all of my presets/songs?
2. IA Button settings - midi cc toggle action, relevant midi device and parameter cc number and On value set higher than preset. To turn it off I guess I would set the Off cc value to that of the preset? Or none? Momentary?
2. Question about which pedals - with a chain of boost, preamp/OD, eq and compressor - would you use boost level of first pedal for fattening/saturation boost and output of compressor for transparent volume boost.

Thoughts are welcome, especially if there is an easier way to do it.

Actually adjusting the boost or output level of a pedal using a CC is ok if you have those pedals on all the time. It's not going to do anything for you if the pedal is off. Generally, I prefer using presets on the pedals where possible. But, if you use those pedals as "always on" pedals, then your strategy makes sense.

Yeah they are always on pedals. Out of curiosity if a pedal was not always on and I simply added a turn pedal on action for the same button before the cc volume adjustment action would you see a problem with that? So if the pedal was already on it would just be a redundant action and if it happens to be off then it would be turned on.
