Is there any advantage to running the PBC at 12V?

Hi everyone, PBC newbie...

I noticed that the unit says 9-12V. Is there any sonic advantage to running at 12V? Or does it just run with less draw? I have an open 12V slot on a Voodoo 4x4 that I could use...

Sonically, it won't make any difference. But, the PBC draws 400mA at 12V and 500mA at 9V - the outputs on the 4x4 are speced at 400mA. I'm not certain that the supply can run the PBC at 9V without overloading.
