Mastermind LT song 8 preset setup (2nd press)?

Hello,

I remember seeing on this forum a way to setup the RJM Mastermind LT so that when in setlist mode a song can have 8 presets instead of 4 by having each of the bottom 4 buttons have a "2nd press"... effectively giving the LT an "8 button bottom row"...

If I wasn't reading that incorrectly (and I can't find the thread anymore), does anyone know how to set this up?

If you hold the button, the preset will activate after a certain period of time. It will stay activated after you release the button.
How so?

On my current LT I have hold momentary functions on my bottom row presets to add a pedal into the signal chain... but when I let go the pedal is taken out of the signal (as I intended, momentary function).

Is there some checkbox that can make the hold button "latch" after a few seconds that I'm not aware of? If so... could I make:

BUTTON 1
Song Preset 1 (HOLD latch for Song Preset 2)
BUTTON 2
Song Preset 3 (HOLD latch for Song Preset 4)
BUTTON 3
Song Preset 5 (HOLD momentary to add a pedal into the signal chain)
BUTTON 4
ADD pedal into the signal chain (HOLD momentary to add a a DiFFERENT pedal into the signal chain)

???

A hold function is different than a momentary button. This video discusses them:

Hold Functions

And yes, you can do what you're asking. Hold functions are considered separate buttons, so they can do anything a normal button can.

Pretty much all my MM LT 100+ presets have an alternate preset on a second press of the same button. Like Clean, and then Clean with Reverb on the second press. IE: CLEAN/CLEAN REVERB

Or CRUNCH/CRUNCH ECHO etc...

And so if I'm in song mode I have my 4 presets and their alternates which then gives me 8 presets per song.

HOW on Earth do you set that up? Care to make a demo video? I'm sure many people would appreciate that.

I KNOW I WOULD! Haha.

If I am understanding this setup, wouldn't you need a ridiculous amount of preset combinations (and the MM LT only allows for like 1,OOO)? Or at the very least you wouldn't make generic presets on your MM LT but rather make presets are are only used for specific songs?
